Against a backdrop of accelerating geopolitical tension, rapid technological change and shifting capital flows, the upcoming AIM Summit London 2026 later this month will provide a timely forum to address many pressing issues. I greatly look forward to moderating two panel discussions focused on topics at the centre of several important structural trends.
In the first, “The Infrastructure of Power: Energy, Sovereignty & the AI Economy,” we will examine the increasingly critical relationship between energy availability and computational scale. As AI moves from concept to industrial reality, questions surrounding power, infrastructure, national priorities and investment allocation are rapidly becoming central for both policymakers and investors.
In the second, “Bridging TradFi & Digital Assets: The Institutionalization of Crypto,” we will explore how digital assets are evolving into a more structured and institutionalised asset class. The intersection between traditional finance and digital markets raises important questions around regulation, custody, capital allocation and long-term market structure.
Both panel discussions reflect broader shifts in the global economy, where technology, capital and geopolitics are becoming increasingly intertwined.
I look forward to the discussions with the panellists and to the insights we will share on the intersection of these important themes.
